My deepest condolences at the loss of your father. I hope very much that he heard your expressions of love yesterday, and your commitment to honor him (which you are doing now). If he did, I'm sure that they made letting go less of a struggle, and eased the fear.

Best wishes to all of your family, especially to your stepmother.
