The impending presidential/congressional elections caused the following things to happen in America today:
- Early voting in FL: 2 & 3 hr waits the the first day of early voting; people don't wait in line this long to vote on Election Day! Proving that Americans aren't as apathetic as people would like to believe
- Politico now reports El Tinklenberg has over $800,000 thanks to Useful Idjit Michele Bachmann’s mouth
This one is my Favorite of the Day, and I'm so bummed I couldn't find it on YouTube, but here's the text:
(Roger Wicker, conservative Republican incumbent, and Ronnie Musgrove, former Democratic Governor of Mississippi, are running for the Mississippi US Senate seat. The text of one of Wicker's TV ads follows.)
One of Wicker’s television spots seeks to tweak Musgrove for raising money from special interests and stars a fictitious DSCC fundraiser.
DSCC FUNDRAISER: "We've got a shot at defeating a conservative, pro-life senator. Come on, step up."
WOMAN: "Friends of Hillary Clinton."
FUNDRAISER: "A hundred thousand dollars, sweet. Let's go, Ronnie Musgrove has promised to support our liberal, Democratic leadership. Let me guess..."
VILLAGE PEOPLE COWBOY: "The largest gay rights group in the country." FUNDRAISER: "Your money will help."
NARAL GUY: "I'm with the largest pro-abortion group in the country. Is Roger Wicker pro-life?"
FUNDRAISER: "Absolutely."
NARAL GUY: "Then we'll support Musgrove."
FUNDRAISER: "You know Ronnie, he delivers." [Person in cow suit approaches]. FUNDRAISER: "Let me guess, beef plant."
COW: "Mooo."
Guy in articulated animal costume = good times ahead!
